NBA styles and mall time

 Rumour was that there was an NBA scout at Papamoa Plaza.

I dazzled everyone with my rebounding ability.

And I hung out with my mates; Bryn and Keita.

 

The Grinch and the internet

We went to town to see the local drama production. It was all about the grinch stealing Christmas. It’s not going to happen on my watch!

 One day, me, the academy awards.. fame.

Ambulance is my favourite tv thing. I can get it online too!

 

Bowling

Been a short week this week due to “stuff” but I did go bowling. I can my own ball and shove it down the assist thing. I’m pretty good. I can teach other ppl if they like. I charge $30 per 30 mins.

 

Buses and acting

 Here I am at drama, at the historic village in Tauranga.

 More bowling. I can pick the ball up and not drop it on the Staff’s feet. “Haha tempting tho.”

Bowling and Concert Prep

This is me bowling at the fun zone at Bayfair. I actually got a spare. (Technical bowling term worth hundreds of points.)

Finally finished our concert prep, all those days we had been slaving away painting boxes and this is our finished product. I’ll share more about our concert next week.

 

Models and Minutes.

I went to Greerton to buy a model kit set aeroplane.

I got a Tempest, which is like a Spitfire but better.

 I also took the minutes at the Staff Meeting.

To be fair, I was a bit confused as to which model shop we were going to in Greerton. But I did like it!!

 

Food science

 

You know how people say, “you only come here for the food.” Well, it’s true. Specially on a friday when I get hot chips. 

Also today I learnt about colour.

By drowning these poor skittles we could see the colour blend.

Shopping Cafes and life’s a beach

Maketu ... haven’t been here for ages. Low tide and lots of people hunting Pipi. 

 During the week I went as an Ambassador for Arohanui and helped collect items for our upcoming Christmas raffle. Maybe I might enter myself as first prize!

Coffee. What else to say? ... get in my belly.

 

Working at work

 

 We are big on recycling at Arohanui TePuke. Here I’m recycling one of the personal boards. A bit of paint and some PVAand sweet as.

 One of my jobs is emptying the bins. 

The savoury scones wouldn’t be any good without cheese. “I’m grate at this job ..... hahaha grate.”

Aviation and preparation.

 

On Monday I helped do some prep for peoples personal boards. We are just recycling old ones.

One of my goals is to go to the airport.

Here at Tauranga airport we saw, one Air NZ flight, an RNZAF plane

And a cool welcoming sign.

I did some office work this week, not very creative though, in fact quite destructive.

It’s fun destroying stuff!

I also got to go to Mitre 10 and buy some tools. I tried to pay with less money, but no, I had to hand the correct amount over.

Bowls and Drama Play

I really enjoyed going to Ten Pins. We separated into 2 groups, and my team did really well. 

I love doing ten pin bowls and look forward to going again. 

I went to support my friends at their Drama play. I was lucky to get front row seats and enjoyed their performance. 

 

Snakes, elves and me.

 

Good afternoon, welcome to my blog. A very busy week this week. 

Snakes and ladders, quite a silly game really, I was coming first but ended up last. 

 We went to the Christmas Shop. For some reason Santa lives in Te Puke. I have not seen any reindeer or elves, unless you count the staff at Arohanui.

CaFFIENE!!! and Kiwifruit

This is a sculpture at the entrance to Te Puke. No one knows what it is. No one.

 I had coffee. I love coffee. I love coffee so much I borrowed some of my staff's coffee. then because I was so high on caffeine I went for a push around Te Puke. 

 

This giant golden kiwifruit just happened to be down the road. I tried to push it over. It was pretty heavy.

Electrical Engineering

 

I’ve been creating a little electrical sensory board, using old telephone and data cables.  The tricky part has been making it safe for people to use without being scratched by cables. It’s nearly finished. A lot of work on this one.

Fashion Show

Some of the girls from the pamper group (lipstick and other girly stuff) put on a fashion show for everyone. It was pretty neat. they designed clothes and made cool sashes and wore them and modeled them for us. Anyway, I was the chief flower usher. Everyone got daffodils from me. 

 

Sports day!

 

Sports day! A good thing to do while it’s raining. We did relays and a massive dance off, and did this cool thing with the parachute we have. 

 Here I am holding it while others do crazy things with it, like running underneath it and bouncing balls on it.
