June update

 

June kicked off with a royal celebration, setting the tone for a high-energy month ahead. I’ve been balancing a mix of hard work and creative passion from cooking up batches of fudge for an acts of kindness project (with a sneaky taste-test session, of course) to keeping up with my drama and dance schedules. When I’m not performing, I’m backstage helping bring concerts to life with props and production work. It’s safe to say I’m keeping busy, doing exactly what makes me happiest. Also this month I have seen what goes into a yummy veg soup. It was so good to eat and the smile lasted in the center for days. Also this month I have been making scarecrows for our gardens that we are slowly doing up. I surprised everyone when I was keen to attend the Fairy Village Day at Historic Village. It was busy with fairies everywhere. We then sat down for lunch afterwards.

June Update!

 Welcome everyone, sit back and I’ll share with you all what I’ve been up to.

The first one has me playing on a drum machine on the ipad  which was then pumped through the PA, very loud. The second has me at the local Te Puke Library, getting new books out for my friends. And Thirdly I dressed up as King Adriaan the first when I went to the drama production over in Tauranga.

Apart from these I have also played pool at work on our pool table, and got a massage. I have had to go shopping to purchase items for the centre, mainly food ingredients for the Cooking group the next day. Another thing I like doing is washing the van and squirting people.

I got new cds, they’re great, no scratches, they work better.

Here I am at New World buying the best coffee. I know it’s the best because I drink all the coffee. I am number one coffee connoisseur.

Spent an amazing morning at Maketu, the storm was long gone, but there was some driftwood laying around, of which some we collected and brought back to the centre.

The Grocer

Been a quiet week, here I am at New World, making sure that people buy the right ingredients. Has to be the right price too. (SMH, sometimes these people just buy the biggest and have no clue, but I do, I know the deals man!)

 

Work skillz

Not only am I washing the van by myself, but I worked in a team. And I didn’t squirt her either, although I did squirt the person with the camera.

 

Coffee!

Went to Greerton, to have a coffee and a bite to eat, ended up nattering with the Boss. I shared my thoughts and he definitely went away the richer.

Also been to Mitre 10 to get light bulbs, got to have good light to work in, it’s a professional requirement.

Had a great trip to Whakatane, I went to the big Hunting and Fishing Store for a look, (see my cool hat) and had a feed at the heads annnd we weren’t attacked by seagulls!!

Bunnings!

Believe it or not, but I’ve been to Bunnings twice this week, and not just to buy sprays for the garden, also went to thank the staff for giving us cool stuff for last year’s Christmas raffle,

 

It’s 2026!!!

 

The most important thing to have at work, is coffee!
