Planes and Culture

 

On Friday we went to the Classic Flyers Museum at Mt Maunganui, we saw lots of aircraft including some that were still in use.

At culture group we were making friendship bracelets, this is my cool one.

Birthday!! And Design Tech

 

This week we found an amazing 3D paint program on the computer, I painted an oil painting with The Space Shuttle and an Astronaut as a feature.

This week it’s been my birthday. I’ve had a big cake which we all consumed, I suspect various guys had two pieces.

Shopping + Bowling

 We had to go shopping for cooking. This is me posing with a pumpkin. Another customer said it’ll be a squash if I dropped it.

Cooking and Men’s stuff

 I went to Mitre 10 and checked out some decent hand tools. This crowbar fitted into my hand easily and I imagine I could do a lot of creative destruction with this.

 This is what all our cooking finally looks like. Tasted very nice too.

 

Community outing and cooking skills

Finally I’ve managed to get out into the community and visit places I’ve been aching to see. Here I’m beside some local Maori carvings at the entrance to a park.

I’ve been upscaling my cooking ability, here I am mixing cookie dough for some biscuits that we made at the centre.
